Where did they all go?

The sad part of this blog is the apathy shown by most of the Home Kids. They have plenty to share but can't bring themselves to do it.One Kid sends me e-mails about every subject under the sun, household hints, security issues when traveling but not onr scintilla of his experience at the home, the good, the bad or the ugly. So I am folding my tent and joining the legion of the silent. My efforts to bring some cohesion and support for those not doing as well as others has come to naught. I am turning the Newsletter over to a younger group, the product of the fifties and whose care was seen to by Dr. Clark so they have little knowledge of the long and iconic care provided by "Pop" Wiley. At eighty-one I guess it is time to let it go. Virgilius "Leo" DiBiase

Hi. I just came across my children’s great grandmothers bible given to her by the superintendent of the school in 1926. Flowers still in the pages. I know a little about her past I believe she had five or six brothers or sisters and was sent to live there when her mother passed away, her father was a mason. I know she was a kind loving person and had a daughter that my kids loved. Their nanny who passed away in 2011.
