Where did they all go?
The sad part of this blog is the apathy shown by most of the Home Kids. They have plenty to share but can't bring themselves to do it.One Kid sends me e-mails about every subject under the sun, household hints, security issues when traveling but not onr scintilla of his experience at the home, the good, the bad or the ugly. So I am folding my tent and joining the legion of the silent. My efforts to bring some cohesion and support for those not doing as well as others has come to naught. I am turning the Newsletter over to a younger group, the product of the fifties and whose care was seen to by Dr. Clark so they have little knowledge of the long and iconic care provided by "Pop" Wiley. At eighty-one I guess it is time to let it go. Virgilius "Leo" DiBiase

Where is everybody??
Why the apathy? With the exception of a few Kids who extend themselves to share most of the survivors keep mostly to themselves. We need your stories. If your having trouble navigating this blog send me an E-Mail. "Leo" DiBiase
I just received a letter from Bill Cloyes. Bill is looking for the relatives of Mary Lou Haines Canale, in order to express his condolences on Mary Lou's passing.
Bill also sent me a picture of Melvin Boell who was killed in WWII. Any information on his sister Madeline will be appreciated as she may like to have the photo. Bill has been a Mason for 65 years.

The 2008 Reunion was an unqualified success! I hope this new blog gets more play than the last one. The old one, http://masonichomekids.blogspot.com/ has been transcribed into this new one since the old one doesn't work anymore. bro. Leo
